In the shadow of Raphael

Hanging below the ceiling in the V&A's gallery of Raphael cartoon's, are what appear to be two chrome covered aeroplane wings. Wafting back and forth silently, they are part of the London Design Festival.

Instinct is to look up rather than at the larger than life, boldly painted figures on the wall. It occurred to me that this might be the view Raphael's figures have of us milling around underneath.

I had to scour the map to find where this gallery was (tucked away behind the ground floor temporary space, which currently houses Disobedient Objects).

This may be the objective of the installation, introducing more people to a rather gloomy and obscure room.
