Apollo's Mission is not yet over.

What an exciting morning, a new butterfly to add to the village collection. This is a Mountain Apollo (Parnassius apollo). It was in the shade when I first spotted it feeding, so it was not very active, a blipper's perfect subject. Opening those almost translucent wings as the sun warmed them, was such a privilege to observe. You can see those wings here.
