Since I decided not to buy a DSLR before I complete a 365, I've been thinking about how to improve my photography with the kit I've got. The best tip is, of course, to be in the right place at the right time, shoot everything, and edit ruthlessly. But beyond that, I can't shoot RAW with my phone or compact, but I can shoot TIFFs rather than JPEGS with my phone (ProCam2 app). And this makes a difference, even after having to convert to jpeg to upload to Blipfoto, as I think you can see in this shot of the Aspire Tower in Nottingham.
