Watery abode

My (very broad) interpretation of the Derelict Thursday challenge, SarumStroller's brainchild.

This house is on the outskirts of the village. The farmer must have needed extra water for his orchards, and decided to sacrifice a house. It does make sense, though - a house can be built almost anywhere; finding a good spot for a dam is a different matter.

We are quite a distance from the sea, but the sea gulls seem quite happy where they are.
