The old sage

Max is tough to capture with his black garb, I wanted to try the iPhone 6 to see how it handled his darkness. I did have to send the image over to the desktop so I could clean up the lint and dust spots that dotted his coat. He's thin, but still a dandy at 18.

Yesterday's outdoor wedding rehearsal snaps were a success even though it was dark with impending rain. My trusty Nikkor 85mm 1.4 didn't fail me for candid portraits of the wedding party. I did my job and enjoyed the informal rehearsal dinner with the family and came home to wait for T. She was dropped off by the livery service at midnight and asleep moments after I think. She will be tired at work today.

Off to painting soon, T just called to say that South Station is crawling with security and undercover agents due to the vague warnings of a Mass Transit attack. I'm glad our Swedes came in last Friday without this added layer of scary security.

We need some good thoughts for an old friend, J, in crisis now. She is now in good care, but very fragile and in dire need of good wishes. Thank you.

For the Record,
This day came in bright and sparkling after a few overnight showers. A warm weekend on the way.

All hands healthy
