Lagoon

Another beautiful day - warm sunshine, excited robins, lazy cats. I cleaned the conservatory and kitchen floors, mowed the lawn, ripped out tons of nettle roots in the new orchard area and wrote up the last walk.

Today's swim was wonderful - oddly it seems to have got warmer. This is a view of the lagoon on the other side of the pebbly beach as the clouds are just coming in, usually occupied by a family of swans. There were about five gannets dive bombing into the water, an elderly farmer mending his fence complete with really ancient tractor, someone shooting something up on the hill; and a girl with spectacular dreadlocks cycling by.
