Lanterns

Our village hall holds occasional coffee mornings to raise funds as there's always something needing repairing, fixing or upgrading. It's generally in good repair though and events are usually well supported.
I was on the Bring and Buy stall and these Physalis or Chinese Lanterns didn't even have chance to touch the table when a friend who had grown them in her garden, brought them in for sale. They were snapped up by art and plant loving friend Judy, who will no doubt produce a beautiful water colour of them in due course.
