The news is hard at the moment. Yesterday was the memorial for Ann Maguire, a much loved teacher killed on the verge of retirement after 40 years of service; today RAF jets fly back into Iraq, will we ever see an end to this conflict; Alan Henning's wife appeals for his freedom and thousands of young people in Hong Kong fill the streets in a pro democracy protest.

You have to hope that, as the sun goes down, tomorrow will be a more optimistic day.
