Return of Quiz Night!

Oh where oh where to begin?

Major upheaval at work announced today. Still, tomorrow my new contract & big promotion go into effect. But clearly there will be major changes in the goals & objectives to align with the shift in corporate strategy. Oh ha. Never a dull moment.

Despite exhaustion & a killer headache, I was happy to go to English quiz night - the first since Lulu closed last March. The new venue was cramped but service was great. And to make the occasion extra special, we celebrated into the birthday of our reigning quiz queen - the dear Expat Emma, who excels at nearly every topic, except sports and porn, apparently :)

I was honored to bake her birthday cake, as she is usually the one to bake cakes for everyone else!
