We headed back down the road today in positively Alpine conditions. Amazing blue skies, crisp clear air and lots of snow and ice. We could see some really good snow and big runs on the Nevis Range - they must be having the best season ever and as you can see the whole of Loch Laggan was frozen for it's whole length.
I can't remember ever having a winter like this - up at The Glen we've had snow and big frost for over two months now. Just fantastic.
So we're back in the house, and getting dinner ready - maybe risotto then an early bed.
