Monday 22 February 2010: Poor Pansy
I'm scanning the garden daily for signs of colour and life to no avail. Arriving home cheesed off at the bus service once again tonight, I noticed my poor pansies in the tub by the front door. I was hoping for a riot of winter colour when I planted them but they have been a disappointment. This single flower keeps on going against all weathers. I think he looks like he is trying to escape the pot, with his leaf hanging over the edge, trying desperately to get into the warmth of the house!
