Spring Cheer!

You can't have spring without some tulips with their bright and cheerful blooms. These potted ones are from the supermarket, I have them sitting on our new fire in the lounge, lovely to have as its a bit grim in the garden at present.

A great day, spent early morning at the nursery with my landscaper mulling over plants and trees, decisions, decisions and more decisions, at least I've made a start. He has put some beauties aside for me.

And then went round to mum's for a cuppa and a chat but ended up staying for lunch, some days are just like that, it was really nice.

Two phone calls from both daughters who are both well, its always lovely to hear from them.

And yesterday's clematis shot hit the spotlight, warm thanks to you all for your lovely words, stars and hearts, I'm feeling chuffed.

The weather has been quite unsettled today, starting with blue sky, white powerful clouds rolling through, a bitter SW wind coming fresh off the snow-capped mountains and then it all turned grey, heavy with rain and now the sun is shining again but the wind has remained, a cool 14C.
