Shades of Brown

I had about half an hour to try the new lens today - mixed results to be honest. I need some guidance, so comments welcome.

It was overcast, so not a lot of light. I was trying close ups shots and I wanted a larger portion of the shot in focus. I will probably have to contact DM for another lesson!

Anyway, I like this one and wonder what flower this is.
