Derelict Thursday Challenge..The Bach

Although we think it looks very derelict, the owners of this holiday home obviously are happy to have it like this. He has a high profile job, and I think this is his retreat where he can come and do absolutely nothing.
It is tucked into the bush, the lawns are never mowed and it is out of everyone's prying eyes. Guess it is all to their own.
Thanks so much to Sarum Stroller who has been running this Derelict Thursday challenge for the past 3 weeks, have enjoyed looking but this is my first entry.

It has been like summer today, out came the shorts and tshirt and it was into the vege garden putting in some carrot and beetroot seeds and have even tried one row of dwarf beans. This is very early for beans but decided to give it a go, can easily pull them out if not many germinate. Even got the lawns mowed so feeling rather virtuous tonight.

Last night we decided on the set subjects for 2015 for the club, one of which is "On the ground", where you place your camera on the ground, and tilt it up a little so that you accentuate the foreground. Tried it out today with the wide angle lens as wanted to highlight the the long grass. It certainly gives a much different look.

Impressed to see a lot of Blood Moon images up, I made a feeble attempt last night, as there was quite a lot of cloud and the odd clear patch, but just as the total eclipse was happening, the misty rain started and that was the end of it all!
