Wood

We've a lot of artists in the village, and the Tourism Office hosts a monthly art exhibition - solo and groups. It's a nice way of showcasing not only the artists but also the local wines, as the local cellars sponsor the wine. There's a small entrance fee, which goes towards charity.

I bought this driftwood sculpture at one of the exhibitions. It was a family affair - parents and two sons who make costume jewellery, sculpt, paint and photograph.

The sculpture is called Angelfish, and is my entry for Chantler's October word challenge. With today's word being Wood, tomorrow's could only be Glass.
