Viaduct

This is part of the Centenary Railway Viaduct (1866) at Airdire and very close to Coatbridge.

Still in use it is a Category B listed building. Technical stuff here:-
Viaduct of 9 deep segmental arches (1 on high bank to E), crossing Centenary Avenue and W corner of Centenary Park. Bull-faced sandstone battered piers, voussoirs; polished ashlar impost courses and wallhead band courses below bull-faced parapet with railings. Circular iron tie-plates.

It wasn't really the Blip I wanted. I saw someone riding a horse today and at the same time she was texting. It would have made a great Blip- but sadly the camera wasn't to hand!
