I came across a cross spider

I'm not a big fan of spiders but just managed to avoid treading on this beast. It was not moving too fast so managed to grab my camera and return just before it disappeared in the grass. It's actually called a Cross spider as you can see buy the amazing white cross on its back. It was also an amazing orange colour, I just hope it does not make it into the house where it may not be quite so lucky.
