Abandoned - and Filthy

My slice of dereliction, posted a bit late for Derelict Thursday. A Chigaco wire recorder, acquired by HH in his bachelor days, that has been gathering dust in our attic since time almost immemorial.

No blips for yesterday, due to too much work, too little time and zilch inspiration. Must look at Challenges more often, for ideas. And thanks to SarumStroller for hosting this Challenge.

Come to think of it, it's appropriate for the October Word Challenge too, so here's my shot at Filthy (and thank you, Chantler63, for hosting).
