'The Pancake Chef'

Bella cooked us breakfast this morning, huge pancakes, each one filled the entire fry pan because that's the way she wanted them. I loved her standing up there on her stool with her apron on cooking. Pity she spotted me snooping with the camera, would have been nice to capture her in full action over the pan. She must have done a good job because she ate 3 of them herself.

We had some tickets to the movies that were just about to expire so we decided to take the kids to the cinema. We watched the Box Trolls, a fun animated film, but there were definitely more laughs coming from the adults watching. It was one of those movies that can be watched on a couple of different levels. Bella has been asking us ever since to make a box troll with her. I think I've convinced her that we can do it together tomorrow.

Dylan has been dropped off at his mates house tonight for a sleep over. Tomorrow his friend Soren is having his birthday party and we'll be there to collect him from the park that they are having the party at by around 11am.

We went for a nice walk around our neighbourhood tonight with Bella to see how Bella's friend Akaysha's house is going. They are building a new house only a few hundred metres from our house and it will be great when they move it as the kids don't have any other friends that are close enough to walk to.
