Alnwick castle- one of many castles visited today

Big night out in town last night with my two friends visiting Newcastle. Had some great cocktails and got home too late (or early) to blip. Today we drove up to Northumberland, visited Amble for a walk around the harbour, saw and photographed some sea birds. Then went to Warkworth and had lunch by the beautiful castle. Afterwards we drove to Alnwick and visited the castle. As the sun was starting to set, it lit up the castle a lovely golden colour so I took a photo to blip. Then we went to my favourite place, Barter Books, a massive second hand bookshop inside the old Alnwick station. This evening dinner and drinks at home. I love having visitors! :)
