Blackbird

... on the garden seat.

A nice bright day suddenly disappeared under thick fog, but not before I caught this blackbird through the window. Still incredibly mild.

Doctor phoned with the result of my Xray: I've got wear-and-tear osteoarthritis in my knee! Ho hum. Well, I shall carry on with my exercises and dancing (even if I sit some out) and table tennis. Won three games this evening, which is a first. Usually, I win none or one. Mind you, I'm not the only one with painful joints; there are a lot of old crocks there who are nonetheless superb players.
