Falling colors

Hanging Fire

electric crimson,
ruby’s scarlet
hanging fire igniting
burning eyes
seeing berry
tasting autumn
going gold
shades in saffron
school bus, jonquil,
goldenrod dropping
lost in piles of copper

The light this morning was so red with purple clouds and hanging bright. The last of autumn through our window. You can see the floor of Max's loft and his daily view. The house viewed in through the window is where I grew up.

Happy National Cat Day. Don't miss a look at last year's thumb below.

For the Record,
This day came in red and warm with the last gasp of summer's air.

All hands improving.

Two deer visitors in the back garden this afternoon. I took these shots through the window.
