Fun Day

Had a great day today.

Went for a run with Willy in the morning, made a nice 'eggs benedict' salad for lunch, went to look at a couple of open houses across the water.

Hit up the Baguette Box for a late lunch - sandwiches were scrumptious! Have to go there again. I had the crispy drunken chicken sandwich with carmelized onions and lettuce and Jer had the roasted leg of lamb with cucumber yogurt and cilantro. Yum.

Made a nice vegetarian shepherd's pie with loads of vegetables. Will definitely make this one again. Followed a recipe from the Food Network magazine but added some vegetables I had on hand (carrots, onions, celery, peppers, eggplant, mushrooms).

Finished the meal off with a cake that Jer made - Vanilla Cardamom cake with fresh whipping cream. Mmmmmm.
