Helping

I've brought both the boys up to help around the house - primarily so managing day-to-day practicalities won't be another problem for them to have to learn how to deal with when they leave home - heaven knows there will be enough of those that I can't prepare them for.

And I'd quite like not to be the mother-in-law from hell who has inflicted a spoiled brat on some poor naive fool who believes he/she can change habits instilled from birth.

Today I got to feel the benefits for myself too. I haven't been this floored with illness since we started this grand adventure - I functioned better after my recent operation & general anaesthetic.

Both boys have been ACE.
