All Hallows' Eve

I'd promised youngest son we'd be back home in time for him to go Trick or Treating. Got home mid afternoon and hastily carved pumpkins and decorated the front of the house.

Trick or Treating is big business in our village - so much so that kids from neighbouring villages are driven here by their parents to take part. We have a system which works well; if there's a lighted pumpkin in the window, you're welcome to call, if there isn't, the kids know not to disturb the household.
