WW1 Exhibition

We have some amazing people in our village. To commemorate 100 years since the start of World War One, they decided to research all the names of the fallen on our village's war memorial.

This week they have displayed their findings in the village hall; there are photos, letters, newspaper articles, and one villager even wrote a very moving piece of music which was playing as you walked around the exhibition.

There were 21 young lads who sadly lost their lives, some within a matter of weeks of going to battle, each one carefully documented at the exhibition.
