Friday 5 March 2010: Deluge

It's been a lovely day so this sudden deluge this evening was a bit of a surprise. It even came with a little thunder and lightening (although not quite enough to tempt camera and I out to experiment with.)

There's something I really, really, really love about living in an old house with a tin roof - the sound of rain beating down on the roof. It's so relaxing, cosy and safe.......so I was in heaven for the 5 minutes of this deluge!!

And how nice of the deluge to come on right on sundown too - it created some beautiful although very short lived light.
