Keek!

Looking back through my journal, the other day, I realised that in all my Water of Leith bird-shots, I had no formal portrait of a goosander drake (Mergus merganser).
There are a couple of shots of them flying, and a few of his Mrs, but today he swam right up to the bank, looked me in the eye and said "Blip me!"

Who am I to argue with that shiny crimson beak? You can almost make out his "teeth" in this, and I've got his glossy green head (usually it looks black in my photos).
