River Ness flood alleviation works, in Inverness, looking from the Friars' Bridge to Douglas Row. No public access yet. I do wish they'd finish off some stretches of the works, rather than closing off more and more areas of the town. The place really does look a tip, and I feel sorry for any tourists passing through.

Back in February, it looked like this film Blip. Also took a film photo here today for the other journal. That was with a 35mm lens, so will be a narrower angle of view than this 27mm equivalent... assuming it comes out okay! Inspiration was very lacking.

Light rain here, and throughout lunchtime. Heavy rain this afternoon and on the cycle home. Serious downpour  just before I was about to leave... I waited a while. Whilst it did rain all the way home home, the worst soaking was from all the monster puddles, and water still flowing down the roads from what fell earlier.

(Thanks to Blippers for the favourites for a couple of days back. I didn't think much of the shot, as ever, but thank you RSL and VitalSparks)
