Winter is Here

Light duties at foodbank today as very tired. Made up toilet roll and a soap bar into mini-packs. Can only make up what we have into the packs. Sorted out some kettle box stuff. Tea-break all of us together, then 2 min silence together but with our own 'silent' reflections on Armistice Day 11.11.11.

A chat to reconnect with each other then we listened to one of the volunteers giving us a musical interlude with his accordion, hope his gig goes well tonight, enjoyed the variety of music he played, classical to jazz to Irish Folk.

Garden Blip - this is my winter jasmine in flower, which is very early in the season. This is from a cutting that was taken a few years ago from a plant close by, but I wished this one to grow up the side of the fence, covering the fence and joining the beech hedge, it's certainly doing that!
