Lost

A-maze-ing afternoon weather-wise.

Another sure sign that Spring is here was being dragged kicking and screaming to a garden centre - "just to have a look". Unfortunately about 3000 others had similar ideas too and the the place was mobbed.

The trip itself was partly a test run of our daughter's baby-brother sitting skills, after her turning sixteen yesterday [backplipped]. It was a bit strange not having any of the two of them with us as we had a play around in the maze at the back of the garden centre. May have to start acting more like proper adults now that they're not going to be with us the same on these outings. I cheated a bit to get to this vantage point to snap Samantha as she spent another five minutes or so trying to find the official route. Then she cheated too.

Stopped on the road back to photograph hundreds of geese that had taken over two fields. Apparently there was a rare snow goose in there too, but we didn't spot it in amongst that lot.

House was still standing when we got back too, so a wonderfully successful Sunday all in all.
