Alice in Sunderland

Sunderland was a part of my daily life for most of the 90s, but I hadn't been back in the city centre, barring a brief visit to the beach, for ten years.

As expected, there are a lot of changes, including some phenomenal street art created during last year's UpNorthFest. This piece, Alice, is by Irony and may be a nod to Lewis Carroll's connections with the city.

Plenty of familiar sights as well though.
