The Jury Is Still Out

Here is the experiment in progress: do the pie slices release easily from the new fluted pan? Yes and no. There is some sticking along the edges--it's hard to get the serving tool behind the curly rim, so some of the crust remains in the pan. I think it will be important to bake several more pies to get a definitive answer.
