Socks

One of the bonuses of spring is that some of our cats want to go outside again. With the emphasis on 'want'.
Sure, for purely selfish reasons we put 'm outside in winter too, like when we catch them trying to cough up a fur ball, or just to cool down a bit if they are all heated up and hissing at us.
But in the last few days there has been a distinct change in cat behaviour. When walking towards the door the Bibi will glance casually and then manouvre herself in front of your feet, while at the same time trying to look like she doesn't really care what you are doing.
Unless you aren't there to actually open the door. Then she'll hiss and growl.

This afternoon we all went out to get some fresh air before the rains start (predicted for the next few days).
There was the careless chewing on innocent pieces of grass, the first sniff at the brand new catnip coming up, and the rubbing of the face on various dead plants. MY yard, that says, MINE!

I hope the bunnies pay attention. You do not want to mess with this one; there are sharp claws hiding behind those cute white socks.

It seems my recent state of bleh and meh must have been linked to the sinusitis that has surfaced after the earache and deafness. The details are gross, but I'm hoping it'll continue to ... uhm ... clear up ;)
