Ranakpur Jain Temples

Today we drove from Jodhpur to Udaipur and on the way visited the largest Jain temple complex in India at Ranakpur. It was completed about 500 years ago and is in almost perfect condition.

This is the central Chaumukha Temple built in 1439. One Photo cannot do the temple justice at all, so the berst thing to do was to give you an indication of its beauty. Inside is simply awesome as my kids would say.

I hope I’ve chosen the right blip for you. VIEW IT LARGE!!! The temple is entirely marble, such workmanship.

A minor hiccup this morning, I suffered with a tummy upset for a couple of hours. Luckily, it had passed by the time we reached the temples.

Now in a fabulous hotel in Udaipur for two nights, India experience is nearly over(:
