Sunrise (at last)

Up at 4.45 am this morning, and away up the valley to somewhere we hadn't been before.....the light was amazing, the mist was lingering in the valleys, the colours awesome - I could go on and on. Too many pictures, so have quickly chosen this one - three images blended together.

Back to camp for a BBQ breakie - the food consumed this weekend has been obscene!!

Then up the track behind the homestead to view the valley and to the pond for reflections.....marvellous, but I haven't even been near those pictures yet. Spent a couple of hours up there, all our group were rapted at what they could see and photograph/

Then the big clean up of the houses - had a bit to eat (not necessary after such a big breakie). Packed up all the food bits and pieces, swished up the kitchen and made track home. Of course, even then some more photography on the way home.

Got home, unpacked and washing on.....then sat back with a wine and watched a replay of the rugby - awesome All Blacks - they are a 80 minute team.

Very tired, not much sleeping went on but what the heck, a hell of a lot of fun with friends. Blessed :)

We had a huge range of weather conditions, giving us many different photography opportunities......blue sky's and light winds would not have given any of the atmospheric images that we've got. Happy !
