Thursday 11 March 2010: Bench in the sun

The plane tree behind this bench by one of the fountains has grown around the metal. I liked the wavy patterns of the shadow, made wavier by the roots of the tree which have raised the tarmac around it. Still very cold today, but at least we have sun!
