Heron

Lots more rain today, so whilst there was a brief respite, me and Joseph popped out for a quick walk down the track to the reservoir. Everything was sodden and muddy, with the little brook having breached it's banks making the the top of the path even wetter than normal.

The only wildlife around were the mallards and this lovely heron! I used the super zoom and only remembered when the camera shake symbol stayed on, that I should've brought the tripod! I'm still a snapper at heart, but I'm getting there slowly ;-) Go LARGE
