At home: Draw me …x

Its amazing that when you stop and change one thing, so many other good things can pop up and replace that missing element. I banned TV in the school week. Its one of best thing I have done. You see, TV is a huge element in the winter months if you let it be. The days are short and by the time the evening meal and homework is down, there really is no time for it.

So, did the children get upset about it? actually no. Tonight the children got out their notepads and began drawing. We all drew, and shared ideas. In fact the silence of the TV was taken over by questions and queries. Its a good idea, and I really recommend it…x
