Caledonian Canal Underpass

Thanks for all the kind comments and encouragement for my dawn picture on Bohuntin Hill.
I also need to say thank you to the nice people at blip too as I have discovered that some other earlier pictures have been given considerable exposure in the press -and facebook too- in connection with Scottish based lovers of light images leading up to St Andrews day. I was fair chuffed with that.

There was not much light about today and bizarrely this blip is taken in a tunnel where there was even less. This is one of several large diameter culverts passing under the Caledonian Canal between Gairlochy and Banavie. This tunnel is intended for the passage of livestock and pedestrians. The one immediately next to it permits the onward flow of the River Loy to the Lochy.
