Fritillaria meleagris

Spent an hour this morning at the spring exhibition of the local horticulture group. Always lovely to peruse and I can take photos to my hearts content - well at least until Mother runs out of puff!

Do any of you know a common name for these flowers? I love the markings on their petals.
