Chair

Despite having three As at A level/8 GCSEs at A* as entry requirements, the Medical School cafe has lots of mad funky colours and crazy plastic chairs like it's for nursery school children.

Here's one of the chairs anyway.

Beautiful day today on campus, students actually sitting on the grass; a first this year. This morning the Vice-Chancellor's lawns were home to about 25 blackbirds sitting with heads cocked in the early morning sunshine. They listen for worms don't you know ...!

The good thing is that the lawns no longer show 'STALIN' in 8 foot capital letters (sprayed on to the lawn with weedkiller by a disgruntled academic) although it was quite good fun watching that reappear every year.
