A Rainy St Thomas' Square...

...well past midnight, during quite a bit of rain!

My tripod had gone into hibernation due to lack of recent use! So -

Only five minutes walk there but had to continually wipe the lens' front element with the lenscloth right up until the exposure. Waited for the rain to start to get a nice glossy sheen but before the deluge and strong winds due later tonight, which were already taking effect on the 5 minute walk back home.

Glossier & Shinier LARGE

Better weather tomorrow but down here looks like it'll be dull. Sarum Stroller doesn't do dull. Better a glossy gold sheen under streetlights at night. So that is why this is my Blip, now!

Lens is Nikkor D 17-35mm f2.8 on the good old full-frame D700.

Derelict Thursday Challenge Update Consensus is that after next week's (18th) there will be a TWO WEEK BREAK to cover both Christmas Day and New Year's Day as these both fall on a Thursday.
