Counting the days

School's out :)

A few department things done in the morning then a few hours of farewells. I always find these occasions hard, partly because those who are leaving are themselves emotional and partly because I personally find leaving, separation and change challenging. I'm improving though and today wasn't as hard as I had thought it might be.

Stopped in at M & J's on the way home and ended up staying for tea with other friends of theirs who had come round. That's change - I rarely act that impulsively.

So now it's onward towards my holiday.......the countdown to leaving is on.
