patterns - day 4

YIKES - so, after I posted my blip last night, and I was asleep, Jer took Willy (our dog) out for a pee in the back alley, as we usually do (off leash). Afterwards, Willy heard some dogs barking at the front of the house and took off like a bullet and proceeded to run out into the street and get hit by a car. Luckily it wasn't one of the many cars screaming through this residential street and it was a couple of older Vietnamese ladies driving (well, only was was driving at the time). Jer saw it all (poor thing) and said Willy tumbled a few times, but got up and ran away since he was scared. Eventually Jer lured him back to the house and got some info from the car while I inspected him for any injuries. He was shaking like a leaf and smelled like the devil, but he didn't seem to have any scrapes/broken bones/blood. We went to be after we decided he was okay.

I took him out for our regular morning walk (before he went to the vet) and he seemed just fine and was walking/trotting normally. Jeremy took him to the vet in the morning to make sure he was okay and everything checked out just fine. Willy is OKAY! He is a miracle dog and we are so lucky that he was uninjured.

Early bedtime - yet again. Need to get used to this early wake up time. Pilates again tomorrow morning.
