Garden gate

The entrance to the garden of some friends, whose plot is just down the path from ours. The tradition of making things last and recycling them means that many of the garden gates are made from old house doors. Ours is a very tatty wooden frame with wire attached to it - we must recycle an old door some day!

I like the colour of this one and the way the sun comes through the gaps in the woodwork.
