No Fooling Around

I haven't met a woman yet who likes wasting two hours of her afternoon at the mammography center, or who enjoys having her boobs manhandled and stuffed into a machine that squeezes them half a dozen different ways, but I make it a point to remember to do it. I do it because both of my grandmothers lost breasts. I do it because my best friend lost her breast at 39. I do it (every six months now) because I had a scare of my own last year. I do it for my daughter. Have you remembered to schedule your annual or baseline mammogram?
