Half a bridge

We stopped at the Roman bridge at St Thibéry on the way to the sea. The bridge was renovated in the Middle Ages and half of it was washed away in a flood many years ago, but it's still an amazing relic of the time 2,000 years ago when this was the Roman way to Spain, the Via Domitia.

We paddled, briefly, in the sea, which was very cold and had a wonderful lunch at le Grau d'Agde, by the sea, in the sun (but sheltered) - fantastic fish soup with croutons and aioli, duck breast with cep sauce, and café gourmand, an espresso coffee with a mixture of desserts including the most delicious crème caramel I've tasted.
