Port Said, Egypt

Once we raised the Ocean Village from the depths of the Mediterranean we sailed on to Port Said in Egypt, where we watched 1300 passengers disembark on 31 coaches to the Pyramids and the Valley of the Kings, after 2 hours of queuing up to leave port the last coaches finally left, and thanked our lucky stars we didn?t do these trips, as the temperature was well up in the high 20?s.

We leisurely took our Breakfast and finally left the port for a quick trip in a horse and Carriage around the town, taking in the Mosques and other sights.

As the ship was very empty of folk it was easy to get a sun lounger and into the Restaurants.

Tomorrow we get to Cyprus and Limersol, hopefully the sun will continue to blaze in the sky.
