Friday 16 April 2010: The Lift In
A really enjoyable day. Got a call to see if i could go and assist in getting I's boat, the Linnet, lifted into the water at Granton. We sat aboard and chatted in the glorious sunshine while the waters slowly lifted us from the slip until we could motor off to the new mooring. From the Linnet, we watched other boats get lifted in (above).
Got home and read awhile but suddenly needed a stretch of the legs. A few beers later in the Diggery Dawgs, with some excellent musical company, I'm back home.
Cripes, and happy birthday A! Even fifty year olds are looking young these days!
